Potential Nest Camera Sites
The nest camera, as of today 4/3/22, is in final planning stages before it gets installed, which means scouting out locations. We checked out the campus and found two potential spots:
This spot was just outside the library, pretty close to a parking lot. The open-ness makes it decent but the proximity to the parking lot might not be great for birds, even if we get a long wire to power the camera.

There was also this spot behind the library. People can see it pretty well but it's a bit of a hassle getting there, and is decently isolated from oft-trodden paths. The main problem would be sunlight since there's a lot of tree cover, but we could offset that with a larger solar panel.

We'll decide on a spot and hopefully get it signed off this week, and have it up and running by the end of the week!
